Express Employment Professionals is hiring 7 Handyman/Warehouse candidates for a local client in the Jefferson, LA 70121 area.

We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals with strong work ethic, excellent hand-tool skills, and preferably a background in a skilled trade, maintenance, construction, installation, or similar hands-on work.

What You'll Do

Start in the warehouse for approximately 3 months to learn the operation and demonstrate reliability and work ethic.

Perform light assembly of office furniture and other products.

Use hand tools regularly to evaluate your ability and attention to detail.

After successfully completing the initial warehouse period, transition into installation work.

Install office furniture and related products at customer locations.

Work as part of a team while maintaining quality and professionalism.

What We're Looking For

Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

Someone who is genuinely good with tools

Experience in handyman work, construction, maintenance, carpentry, electrical, mechanical work, furniture assembly, installation, or another skilled trade is a plus.

Comfortable working with hand tools and performing hands-on tasks.

Valid driver's license.

Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and MVR check.

Willingness to learn and grow into an installation position.

Pay & Opportunity

Starting pay: $17.00/hour

The position begins in the warehouse so we can make sure the candidate is a good fit and demonstrates the reliability, work ethic, and hands-on skills needed for the installation role.
