HANDYMAN (Delaware County, Chester County, & Montgomery County)
Full Time OR Contracted- Needed for immediate hire
4-5 Day workweek

We are seeking experienced Handyman to join our team. Minimum 5 years experience. Preferably those looking for steady work and a long term relationship. Also interested in skilled subcontractors who seek partnership with reliable workload. Need insurance and own tools.

The ideal candidates are well organized and take great pride in their work. They possess a strong work ethic and communication abilities, as well as a keen eye for detail. They must have his/her own transportation and tools and are willing to travel within the Delaware County, Chester County and Montgomery county areas. They are skilled craftsmen and possess a solid working knowledge of wood properties, carpentry principals and materials. We are looking for candidates that are creative, can read and interpret building plans, and are capable of working independently.

What you’ll be doing:

Post Haste Handyman handles everything from small repairs to full remodel projects
General home repairs (carpentry, drywall, doors, trim)
General exterior repairs decks, siding, masonry
Basic plumbing and electrical work
Punch list and maintenance jobs
Occasional remodeling work

Job Requirements Include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.
• Completion of formal trade school or apprenticeship programs is a plus!
• Must own reliable transportation
• Must complete acceptable background check
• Must own their own tools
• Ability to read blueprints and follow direction
• Ability to create and verify material take offs is a plus!

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Must have knowledge of acceptable construction site practice
• Must have the ability to communicate with clients in a professional manner
• Must have the ability to follow directions.
• Must be able to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to complete each task assignment.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to be on time
• Keep a tidy personal appearance, and a clean and safe job site
• Painting, masonry, tile skills, plumbing and electrical are a plus!
