Handyman / Carpenter Specialist — Palm Beach County

Employment: W-2 employee, minimum 30 hours per week

Above the Bar Construction is hiring a skilled handyman and carpenter for residential remodeling projects throughout Palm Beach County. We’re looking for a dependable team member who takes pride in clean, detailed work.

Responsibilities

Install kitchen cabinets, cabinet faces, and cabinet handles

Install microwaves and dishwashers
Install interior and exterior doors and door handles
Install windows in CBS and wood-frame openings
Install baseboards, trim, and vinyl, laminate, or glue-down flooring
Frame walls and other features using wood or light metal framing
Install drywall, including patching, finishing, and repairs
Complete interior and exterior painting
Keep job sites clean and organized

Requirements

Solid experience across multiple remodeling trades

Ability to work independently and follow directions
Clear verbal communication in English
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Authorization to work in the U.S.
Dependability, punctuality, and attention to detail

Basic tools are preferred. Bilingual English and Spanish or Creole is a plus.

This is a W-2 employee position, with a minimum of 30 hours per week and opportunities to grow with the company. We’re looking for someone interested in joining the team long term, rather than taking on subcontract or side work.
