🔨 HIRING – EXPERIENCED HANDYMAN / CONSTRUCTION WORKER
I’m the owner/operator of a residential construction company based in the Long Beach area, and I’m looking for a dependable, experienced handyman/construction worker to join my crew.
I’m looking for someone with real hands-on experience in residential remodeling, repairs, and general construction. You don’t have to know everything or be a master of every trade, but you need to know your way around a job site, know how to use your tools, and be able to get the job done correctly.
WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR:
- Reliable truck or dependable transportation – REQUIRED
- Your own basic tools: hammer, screw gun, Skilsaw/circular saw, hand tools, etc.
- Comfortable using power tools
- Good understanding of basic residential construction
- Good knowledge of job-site safety
- Strong remodeling and repair experience
- Able to communicate in English
- Must live in Long Beach or the surrounding area
- Must be able to occasionally pick up a coworker in North Long Beach
- Dependable, punctual, hardworking, and willing to work
- Drug-free
Military experience or a background in the trades is definitely a plus, but what matters most to me is your actual experience and the quality of your work.
I’m not looking for someone who needs to be taught every step of the job. I need someone who can show up, look at the work, understand what needs to be done, use common sense, and get after it.
