About Us

Two Daughters Home Services is a Boise-based handyman and home repair business serving homeowners, property managers, and realtors across the Treasure Valley. We handle everything from deck staining and fence installation to drywall repair, flooring, and exterior repairs — quality craftsmanship, straight communication, no shortcuts.

The Role

We're looking for an Handyman/Craftsman to work alongside the owner on a range of residential repair and improvement projects. You'll start by riding along and working jobs together to learn our standards, process, and client expectations, with the goal of eventually running select jobs independently.

What You'll Do

• Perform carpentry, drywall, painting/staining, and light repair work across a variety of residential projects
• Assist with fence installation (cedar and vinyl), deck construction, staining, and exterior repairs (siding, trim, rot repair)
• Handle flooring and subfloor installation, tile work, and finish carpentry
• Complete minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-adjacent tasks (fixture swaps, troubleshooting) limited to the scope of what a general contractor can do
• Other Handyman type activities as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, professional jobsite and represent the company well with clients
• Keep tools, materials, and the work vehicle organized
• Communicate job progress and any issues clearly to the owner and, over time, directly to clients

What We're Looking For

• Solid hands-on experience in general repair, carpentry, or a related trade (please specify years)
• Comfortable using standard power tools (saws, drills, nail guns, sanders) and reading basic plans/measurements
• Own reliable transportation; basic hand tools are required
• Valid driver's license
• Strong work ethic, punctual, and able to work well one-on-one with the owner
• Customer-facing professionalism — this is a business built on trust and repeat clients
• Willingness to learn our systems and eventually take on jobs solo

Nice to Have

• Experience with any of: drywall finishing, tile/flooring, framing/construction, deck/fence work, exterior siding repair or home repair
• Basic knowledge of home construction, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC systems
