We’re a small, fast-growing handyman and home repair company serving the East Bay. Our team takes pride in delivering high-quality service across a wide range of residential repair and renovation projects—from minor fixes to full remodels. As we expand, we’re seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead client projects, manage technicians, and ensure top-tier service delivery.
Position Overview
The Project Manager will oversee home repair and renovation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, quality workmanship, and excellent client communication. This role requires hands-on experience in home repair trades, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and team members simultaneously. It is a bags-on role.
Minimum Requirements

3+ years of experience in home repair, construction, or renovation
Proven leadership or foreman experience in residential projects
Proficiency in multiple trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting)
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Valid California Driver’s License and current auto insurance
Reliable transportation and tools

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage residential repair and renovation projects

Coordinate schedules, materials, and subcontractors as needed
Communicate with clients to assess needs, provide estimates, and ensure satisfaction
Perform hands-on work when necessary, including diagnostics and repairs
Mentor and supervise technicians and apprentices
Track project expenses, submit receipts, and maintain detailed job documentation
Ensure safety, quality, and compliance across all job sites
Respond to client inquiries and service requests professionally and promptly

Skills & Abilities

Strong project management and organizational skills

Excellent communication and client service abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general home systems
Familiarity with tools and equipment used in residential construction
Ability to lift to 100 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs regularly
