Job Title: Handyperson/ Painter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman/Painter to perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and painting tasks for residential and/or commercial properties. The ideal candidate has experience in general repairs, surface preparation, and high-quality painting, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform interior and exterior painting, including surface prep (sanding, scraping, patching, caulking)
• Apply paints, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
• Complete general handyman tasks such as minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall repairs
• Repair and maintain walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and fixtures
• Inspect job sites and identify needed repairs or improvements
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
• Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding project progress

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a handyman, painter, or similar role
• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety practices
• Basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable standing, climbing ladders, bending, and working in various conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with residential and commercial properties
• Knowledge of color matching and finishing techniques
• OSHA or safety training certification (a plus)
