We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Landscaping/Hardscaping Foreman to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
The Landscaping/Hardscaping Foreman will oversee and manage daily operations on projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to our company's standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, experience in landscape/hardscape installation, experience operating heavy equipment (skid steer, excavator), grading and drainage work. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both residential and commercial outdoor living projects and be able to lead a team of workers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead landscape installation crews on residential and commercial projects.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the company's quality standards.
Plan and execute grading and drainage tasks as part of landscape installations.
Manage project timelines, resources, and material requirements.
Conduct quality control checks and ensure that all tasks are completed in line with project specifications.
Provide on-the-job training and mentorship for crew members.
Communicate regularly with project managers and clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
Maintain equipment, tools, and worksite safety standards.
Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License (required).
Proven experience in residential and commercial landscape/hardscape installation.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with grading, drainage systems and machine operations.
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
Experience managing and leading a team.
Knowledge of construction and install techniques, materials, and tools.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Preferred Qualifications:
Landscaping/Hardscaping certification or other relevant industry credentials.
Knowledge of irrigation systems and hardscape installation.
Previous experience with safety management or OSHA certifications.
