Hardscapes Construction Lead

South Metro Hardscapes Construction company seeking an experienced and dependable Hardscape Construction Lead to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works well with others, and can keep projects moving efficiently from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
-Lead and work alongside a hardscape construction crew
-Coordinate daily jobsite tasks and crew assignments
-Install retaining walls, steps, drainage systems, and other hardscape features
-Complete excavation, grading, base preparation, compaction, and final installation
-Read project plans, elevations, measurements, and material specifications
-Operate skid steers, excavators, compactors, saws, and other construction equipment
-Monitor workmanship, productivity, and jobsite safety
-Communicate professionally with the project manager, owner, employees, and customers
-Track materials and identify project needs before they cause delays
-Train and guide employees while maintaining a positive, productive work environment
-Keep jobsites, equipment, and company vehicle clean and organized

Qualifications:
-Previous hardscape, landscaping, excavation, or construction experience required
-Leadership or crew-lead experience strongly preferred
-Experience operating construction equipment
-Ability to read plans, use a laser level, and complete accurate measurements
-Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
-Dependable, motivated, and able to work independently
-Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions
-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
-Must have a strong commitment to safety and quality

Schedule:

Full-time, seasonal construction position. Monday through Friday with overtime.
