Hardwood Flooring Finishers & Installers

San Francisco based positions available for immediate hire. IF HIRED YOU WILL BE PAID VIA REGULAR PAYROLL. THESE ARE NOT SUBCONTRACT OR FREELANCE POSITIONS. HARDWOOD FLOORING SAND & FINISH CREW

Minimum Qualifications:

• English, fluency or very near it. You will be the primary point of contact for homeowners/clients.
• Valid California driver license with clean record.
• Ability/experience running an edger, buffer, big Lagler-style sander.
• Ability/experience connecting machines to electrical panels.
• Ability/experience applying stains, oils, and other color coatings.
• Ability/experience applying urethane, oil, and other types of finish coatings.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written commands, communicate clearly.
• Ability to respond positively to constructive criticism and follow standard procedures as set by the business owner.

Pluses But Not Required:

• Your own tools, machines, and/or vehicle.
• Installation skills (see below).
• Spanish.

HARDWOOD FLOORING INSTALLATION CREW
Minimum Qualifications:

• English, fluency or very near it. You will be the primary point of contact for homeowners/clients.
• Valid California driver license with clean record.
• Ability to square up a room.
• Ability/experience with glue-down, nail-down, and floating installation methods.
• Experience with both unfinished and prefinished flooring.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written commands, communicate clearly.
• Ability to respond positively to constructive criticism and follow standard procedures as set by the business owner.

Pluses But Not Required:

• Experience with stairs.
• Sand & finish skills (see above).
• Your own tools, and/or vehicle.
• Spanish.
