Hardwood Flooring Refinisher

We are looking for an experienced hardwood floor refinisher to join our team. This is not a helper position. This is NOT a sub contractor position. The ideal candidate should be confident working on residential hardwood floors with minimal supervision. We want someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can take a hardwood refinishing project from start to finish.

Proven experience refinishing hardwood floors

Ability to independently sand, edge, stain, screen/recoat and finish floors
Knowledge of different hardwood species and how they respond to sanding and stain
Ability to identify and correct common flooring problems
Strong attention to detail
Reliable transportation
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
This is a W2 position
