HEAVY DIESEL / YELLOW IRON MECHANIC WANTED

We’re looking for a solid Heavy Diesel Mechanic who knows their way around construction equipment and isn’t afraid to get dirty.

We need someone who can diagnose problems, turn wrenches, weld, fabricate, and get equipment back to work. We’re not looking for someone who just hooks up a scanner and starts throwing parts at a machine.

Most of the work will be out of our yard in Chandler, AZ, maintaining and repairing our fleet. When something goes down on a job, you’ll also need to be willing to grab your tools and head into the field to get it running.

YOU NEED EXPERIENCE WITH:

• Heavy diesel equipment
• Yellow iron / construction equipment
• Excavators
• Skid steers
• Loaders
• Trenching and underground construction equipment
• Diesel engines
• Hydraulic systems
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Welding & fabrication
• Preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing breakdowns and making field repairs

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Someone who can actually troubleshoot a machine from start to finish.

You should be comfortable working independently, figuring out what’s wrong, making the repair, and getting the equipment back into production.

Must be able to weld.

Must be willing to perform field repairs when equipment breaks down.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Must be dependable and show up ready to work.

This is a FULL-TIME position with a growing construction company.
PAY: Based on experience
SHOP/YARD: Chandler, Arizona
