Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic

Chato's Concrete, LLC is a Concrete Paving and Concrete Flatwork Contractor and is currently hiring:

Experienced: Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic -Apprentices are encouraged to apply-

Requirements:

• Must have experience to Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel equipment & heavy-duty trucks
• Be able to perform a variety of duties associated with heavy duty diesel equipment & heavy-duty trucks

• Sufficient knowledge of brake systems, air systems, steering systems, suspension, electrical systems, drive-train components, hydraulic systems, Class 8 truck air brake systems
• In addition to knowledge of TEXA & Cummins Insight Systems

• Ability to move and park tractor-trailers is a bonus (not required)
• Welding experience a plus (not required)

• Must be professional, dependable, hardworking, self-motivated, and able to work unsupervised.
• Ability to perform physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks; to include frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting and carrying up to 50-80 lbs.

• Comfortable working outdoors in a high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
• Must be able to work Monday-Friday. (Saturdays and Overtime as needed)

• Must have a valid Driver License
• Pre employment Drug Screen required

• Rate of Pay $ depending on experience: Paid Weekly
