Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, air brakes, suspension, and other key components of heavy equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, and welding to ensure machinery operates efficiently.

*Utilize OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) schematics and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues accurately.

• Conduct fabrication tasks as needed for custom repairs or modifications on construction machinery and farm equipment.
• Operate heavy machinery such as Payloaders and other construction equipment safely during maintenance or repair procedures.

Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs and inspections performed on equipment.

* Assist with assembly or disassembly of machinery components using power tools and hand tools while adhering to safety standards.
