HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC NEEDED – FULL TIME – HONOLULU (SAND ISLAND)
Bob's Equipment LLC is a family-owned and operated heavy equipment sales and rental company located in Sand Island. We are looking for a dependable, motivated Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team full-time.
If you have experience working on heavy equipment, diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and enjoy solving problems, we would like to talk with you.
JOB DUTIES:
- Diagnose and repair heavy equipment and construction machinery
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, fuel, and engine systems
- Prepare equipment for rentals and sales
- Complete work orders and maintenance records
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Work independently and with other team members as needed
- Excavators
- Skid Steers
- Forklifts
- Telehandlers
- Boom Lifts
- Scissor Lifts
- Wheel Loaders
- Trucks and Trailers
- Heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred
- Diesel engine experience preferred
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently
- Valid driver's license required
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- CDL is a plus but not required
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
