Heavy Equipment Operator

Terra Excavation is looking for an experienced operator who understands excavation, grades
and jobsite production - not someone who simply knows how to run the controls.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
-Operate excavators, dozers, skid steers,
loaders and other excavation equipment
-Site development, grading, building pads
and road work
-Underground water, sewer and storm
-Utilities
-Trenching, backfill and compaction
-Read plans and work from grades and
elevations
-Daily inspections and proper equipment care

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Previous excavation / heavy equipment operating experience
-Strong understanding of grades and work
-Dependable and able to show up on time
-Works independently and as part of a crew
-Takes pride in quality work and equipment
-Safety-minded with a valid driver's
license
-GPS / machine control experience and CDL are a plus
