Job Summary:

We are seeking highly skilled and versatile Heavy Equipment Operators to join our clients growing construction team. The ideal candidate must possess expert proficiency in rough and final grading, advanced operation of excavators/track hoes, and precision handling of a skid steer equipped with a Gannon box. You will be responsible for moving earth, digging trenches, shaping terrains, and ensuring site layouts match project specifications safely and efficiently.

Job Type: ONGOING, Temp To Hire
Location: Various Sites
Pay Range: $27/HR+ DOE

Key Responsibilities:
•Precision Operation: Efficiently operate full-sized and mini excavators, skid steers with Gannon attachments, and loaders.
•Grading Excellence: Perform rough and final grading, cut/fill operations, building pads, and sloping/banking to exact blueprints.
•Site Preparation: Execute trenching, digging, backfilling, stockpiling, and loading operations for civil, commercial, or residential projects.
•Grade Management: Read, calculate, and verify grade stakes or utilize GPS grade-control systems to ensure structural accuracy.
•Daily Maintenance: Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections, monitor fluid levels, grease components, and report mechanical issues immediately.
•Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to OSHA guidelines, site safety protocols, and proper techniques for securing equipment.

Required Qualifications:
•Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience operating excavators and grading with a Gannon tractor/skid steer.
•MUST have FULL PPE (hard hat, glasses, vest, gloves) & Steel toe boots
•Technical Skill: Deep knowledge of soil compaction, grading techniques, and reading blueprints/civil plans.
•Physical Stamina: Ability to work long hours in outdoor conditions, lift up to 50lbs, and climb onto heavy machinery.
•Reliability: Must be there on time, dependable transportation, and a strong work ethic.
