Heavy Equipment Operator - GPS Experience

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators for civil and grading projects in the South Carolina area for immediate hire. (GPS Dozer and Excavator)

This position REQUIRES the ability to travel to multiple different sites all across SC.

PAY: $22-$28/hour

PER DIEM: $105/day for sites 72+ miles from home
HOURS: 7:00am -4:00pm
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: Temp-to-Perm

Job Description:

Must have a minimum of 4 years experience operating a GPS Dozer or Excavator
Operate dozers and excavators on mining and commercial job sites
Trench digging
Grading
Finish work
Labor as needed
Operating dozers and excavators for grading, excavating, and site preparation.
Reading and interpreting blueprints and grade stakes.
Performing routine maintenance on equipment.
Adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
Fine grading and rough grading.
Working with GPS guided equipment.

Requirements:

MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO DIFFERENT SITES IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS ACROSS SC
Proven experience operating dozers and excavators.
Ability to read and understand grade stakes and blueprints.
Knowledge of safety procedures.
Valid driver's license.
Experience with GPS systems
Willingness to help with labor work as needed
Must be able to travel to various sites across South Carolina

Additional requirements :

Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
