Heavy Equipment Operator Needed in Marysville

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator for a production company in Marysville, WA. This is a great opportunity for an experienced equipment operator seeking a long-term, permanent position with a stable schedule and a four-day workweek. This is a fulltime, permanent role with a brief probationary period through Express. 

In this role, you'll operate heavy equipment to prepare and manage outdoor material stockpiles, support production operations, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Location: Marysville, WA

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Pay: $26.50 per hour
Type: Full-Time | Permanent

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Prepare product loads using heavy equipment loaders
-Move, relocate, and manage stockpiles to ensure proper segregation of materials
-Supply production operations with a continuous flow of material
-Monitor stockpiles for excessive heat and turn materials as needed
-Operate heavy equipment including loaders, trucks, dozers, graders, compactors, snowblowers, and other machinery
-Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
-Clean, maintain, and secure equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures
-Follow all safety guidelines and operating procedures
-Maintain a clean and organized work area

QUALIFICATIONS

-Previous experience operating heavy equipment required
-Experience operating front-end loaders strongly preferred
-Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
-Ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced production environment
-Mechanical aptitude and equipment maintenance experience preferred
-Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
-Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently
-Ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks associated with equipment operation

Process begins with interviewing with Express, then an on-site interview at the client location to see the work in action. Onboarding is through Express until probationary period is complete. Successful candidates will be required to submit to pre-employment screenings in accordance with company requirements.
