Heavy Equipment Operators

We are looking for solid Equipment Operators to add to our ongoing operations.
We perform large to mid scale sitework and utility work throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Ideal candidates should be experienced operating heavy equipment in dynamic environments on busy job sites.

Requirements

• Must be able to operate a variety of equipment including excavators, dozers and loaders
• Must be able to operate in a safe and controlled manner in close proximity to the ground crews, buildings, and other vehicles and equipment
• Must be able to interact daily with supervisors and coworkers professionally
• Have the ability to run equipment independently and as part of a team
• Support team members with projects on site
• Have a strong mechanical understanding of the equipment
• Conduct daily inspections on equipment before operating to identify and report any issues
• Monitor the safety of the site and keep it free of unnecessary hazards
• Maintain records of hours worked to report to supervisor for approval
• Be able to lift 50lbs
• Posses a valid drivers license
• Posses a Current Rhode Island Hoisting License

This position reports directly to the site supervisor and foreman and is not responsible for the management of other employees on the job site.

M-F 7:30-4:30

Extra OT available.
$35-45 per hour Based upon experience and ability.
