HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS

Well established site work contractor seeks dependable operators for loaders, dozers, excavators, skid steer, etc. 90 percent of our work is in Palm Beach County.

The Candidate:

We are looking for skilled Operators proficient in operating heavy machinery, with grading capabilities, and an understanding of grade stakes and GPS.
The ideal candidate will have experience in finish grading and leveling tasks, possess strong attention to detail, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Must have valid DL and your or own transportation.

Responsibilities:

Ensure precise and accurate grading to achieve desired surface smoothness and slope.
Interpret project plans, blueprints, and stakes to determine grading requirements.
Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and ground crews to ensure accurate execution of grading tasks.
Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed.
Maintain awareness of and comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Keep accurate records of daily activities, materials used, and equipment maintenance.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an operator, specifically in finish grading operations.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds or more.
Ability to read and interpret grading plans, blueprints, and survey stakes.
Strong understanding of earthmoving techniques, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance.
Physical stamina and manual dexterity to operate heavy equipment for extended periods.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience in civil construction projects involving finish grading and site preparation.
