Heavy Equipment Operators (Lane County; $25-$30 per hour)

Emerald Excavating, established in 1962, is a family-owned excavation company based in Eugene, OR and serving all of Lane County. We specialize in commercial and residential site prep / earthwork, septic systems, and material hauling. We are growing and have immediate openings for reliable, hard-working people.

Looking for experienced - 3 years plus – Operators (Excavators, Loaders, Backhoes, Skid Steers, Rollers, Compaction Equipment, etc.) with Class A CDL.

Prefer experience in commercial and residential site prep, grading, and/or septic system installation.

Pre-employment drug testing and driver's background check required.

Compensation: $25 - $30 per Hour DOE

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operation of dump trucks hauling materials and transporting equipment
• Loading, binding and unloading construction equipment
• Using laser levels
• Checking grades
• Reading blueprints
• Manual labor for pipe laying and grading
