A 25-ton machine needs to go through a doorway three inches wider than it is. The floor can only take so much weight. There's no room for a crane and no room for a forklift. So how do you get it in?

That's the job. Our technicians figure out how to move heavy industrial equipment where it needs to go, using the right mix of jacks, slides, skates, and rigging. It's mechanical problem solving on a big scale, and no two jobs are ever the same.

What you'll do

Raise machinery with hydraulic jacks, cribbing it up inch by inch
Use jack and slide systems to shift heavy loads sideways into tight spaces
Roll equipment on machinery skates through doorways, down aisles, and into position
Rig, lift, set, and level machines with gantries, forklifts, and cranes
Walk a jobsite, spot the obstacles, and work with your crew to plan the safest way through

You'll fit right in if you

Have a background as a mechanic, diesel tech, millwright, maintenance tech, or in a military motor pool
Like figuring out how things work and how to make them move
Enjoy hands-on, physical work where you can see the result at the end of the day
Take safety as seriously as we do
