High-End Construction Foreman / Team Leader

INS Contractors is seeking an experienced Foreman / Team Leader to oversee luxury residential renovation projects in Manhattan, including Park Avenue and Central Park West buildings.

This position is for a seasoned construction professional who can lead projects independently, coordinate with high-end clients and design professionals, and maintain the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

● Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities.

● Manage and coordinate subcontractors across multiple trades.

● Communicate effectively with architects, designers, clients, building management, and superintendents.

● Plan work proactively and keep projects moving efficiently.

● Maintain exceptional quality control and attention to detail.

● Resolve field issues while maintaining a professional and diplomatic approach.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must have 7–10+ years of experience as an independent foreman or team leader on high-end residential construction projects.

A strong understanding of the following is required:

● Architectural plans and specifications.

● Structural and MEP engineering drawings

● Shop drawings.

● Field layouts, benchmarks, and construction coordination.

● Complex custom millwork installation.

● Large-format stone slab installation.

● High-end lighting and lighting control systems, including Lutron.

● Coordination between multiple trades to achieve premium-quality finishes.
