Position Overview

We are looking for experienced Framing Carpenters to join our team for custom residential builds in Reno. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision layout, clean cuts, and square, plumb framing. If you love working on unique architectural designs, complex rooflines, and high-performance structural systems, this is the job for you.

Key Responsibilities

Layout & Execution: Read and accurately interpret complex architectural blueprints and structural plans.
Framing Systems: Build custom floor systems, wall framing, post-and-beam elements, engineered timber structures, and intricate roof packages (rafters, trusses, valleys, hips).
Quality & Precision: Maintain strict tolerances for level, plumb, and square structures required for high-end custom finishes.
Site Safety: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean, efficient job site.
Collaboration: Work effectively alongside project managers, superintendents, and other trades on-site.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of residential framing experience (prior high-end custom home framing experience strongly preferred).

Skills: Proficient with structural layout, reading blueprints, stair building, and cutting complex roof pitches.
Tools: Must have a complete set of hand tools, tool belt, speed square, level, tape measure, and basic personal power tools.
Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites across the Reno area.
Mindset: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, reliability, and a pride-in-workmanship attitude.
