Highway Sign Installer

DCS (DeAngelo Contracting Services) is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Highway Sign Installers. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, and taking pride in keeping roadways safe, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career.

As a Highway Sign Installer, you'll work alongside an experienced crew installing, repairing, and maintaining roadway signs, posts, and traffic control devices on state and county highways. No previous sign installation experience is required—we're willing to train the right candidate.

What You'll Do

Install, repair, and replace roadway signs, posts, and delineators
Operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, ratchets, and chainsaws
Drive company flatbed trucks to transport materials and equipment
Build and repair barricades and traffic control devices
Load, unload, and organize signs, posts, and materials
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipment
Maintain inventory of signs and installation materials
Assist with emergency response operations when needed, including occasional nights and weekends
Follow all company safety policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to obtain Traffic Control Certification (company assistance available)
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Experience in construction, landscaping, utilities, highway maintenance, or outdoor labor is a plus—but not required
Ability to work well as part of a team
Dependable, safety-focused, and motivated

Physical Requirements

Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders throughout the workday
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Comfortable working near active roadways and traffic
