Temecula Auto Repair Shop – Hiring Automotive Service Writer / Service Advisor

We are a busy and growing automotive repair shop in Temecula looking for an experienced Automotive Service Writer / Service Advisor to join our team.

The ideal candidate must have automotive knowledge and be comfortable communicating with customers, preparing repair estimates, and managing repair orders from start to finish.

Responsibilities:• Greet customers and gather vehicle concerns and repair requests• Create accurate repair orders, estimates, quotes, and invoices• Understand labor times and parts pricing• Communicate with technicians regarding vehicle inspections and repairs• Explain recommended repairs and maintenance services to customers in a clear and professional manner• Obtain customer approvals for repairs• Keep customers updated on repair status and completion times• Close out repair orders and process final invoices• Maintain organized customer and vehicle records• Deliver excellent customer service and help build long-term customer relationships

Requirements:• Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or similar automotive position preferred• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance• Ability to understand labor guides and estimate repair costs• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Strong computer and organizational skills• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment• Professional appearance and positive attitude• Valid driver's license.
