Pay Rate: $24.00-$34.00/hour, DOE.

Benefits include: Full-Time Work, Monday-Friday, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, 401(k), Paid Time Off, and Weekly Pay.

Work Includes:

• Levels and finishes the top surface of freshly poured concrete on pads, floors, sidewalks, or walls.
• Operates machinery, such as a power vibrator to compress concrete
• Applies concrete cure to harden and seal the surface of concrete
• Provides covering, waterproofing, damp-proofing and restoring to concrete surfaces
• Installs rebar, hardware, anchor bolts, steel plates, to prepare or finish concrete

Employees MUST have reliable daily transportation to and from work sites. Job sites range in location and start times.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described must be met by an employee of Whelcon Construction LLC to successfully perform essential job functions. Applicant must be able to do the following:

• Talk, hear, and see with the ability to distinguish colors.
• Stand, walk, sit, or kneel for long periods of time.
• Use hands to control tools, write, and type.
• Wear weighted safety gear as required by safety regulations for long periods of time, such as steel-toed shoes, a belt safety harness, and a hard hat.
• Lift and carry 40+ pounds of weight.
• Perform daily work in an outdoor environment
• Withstand daily temperatures whilst doing manual labor.

All positions are seeking bilingual members of the construction community, but it is NOT required!
