# Commercial Plumbing Estimator

**Austin, Texas | $90,000–$110,000 Base + Profit Sharing**

A well-established commercial plumbing contractor in Austin is seeking an experienced **Commercial Plumbing Estimator** to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a plumbing professional who understands the trade from the ground up—not simply an estimator who has worked across multiple construction divisions. We are specifically looking for someone who knows commercial plumbing systems, materials, labor requirements, installation methods, and the realities of completing work in the field.

## Compensation

• Base salary of **$90,000–$110,000**, depending on experience
• Profit-sharing opportunities
• Total annual compensation may exceed **$130,000–$150,000** for the right individual
• Sign-on or relocation assistance may be available

## Ideal Experience

• Five to seven years of commercial plumbing experience
• Experience estimating projects min 2 yrs in COMMERCIAL PLUMBING ESTIMATION such as:

• Schools and educational facilities
• Hospitals and healthcare facilities
• Industrial projects
• Large commercial buildings
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials, fixtures, equipment, labor, and installation methods
• Ability to review plans, specifications, addenda, and project requirements
• Experience developing accurate material takeoffs, labor estimates, bid packages, and project scopes
• Strong understanding of subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Ability to identify potential project risks, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities

## Trade Experience Preferred

The ideal candidate will have come up through the plumbing trade and may have previously worked as a:

• Journeyman Plumber
• Plumbing Foreman
• Plumbing Superintendent
• Plumbing Installer or Field Technician

We want an estimator who truly understands plumbing—not someone attempting to transition into plumbing estimating from an unrelated trade.
