HIRING FOR HOTEL GENERAL MAINTENANCE

We're a friendly hotel team located just a quarter mile from Hobby Airport, and we're looking for a dependable Groundskeeper and General Maintenance / Make Ready team member to help us create a pleasant, memorable experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

What You'll Do

• Perform daily maintenance, upkeep, and repairs throughout the property and guest rooms
• Conduct quality checks on assigned rooms to ensure they meet standards
• Lend a hand at the front desk, laundry, and housekeeping when needed
• Keep our grounds, parking lot, and pool area clean and welcoming
• Complete routine preventative maintenance tasks on schedule

What We're Looking For

• Prior maintenance experience in a hotel, apartment complex, make ready, or similar setting
• Working knowledge of basic repairs: drywall, paint, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpet, tile, and more
• Comfort and proficiency with standard maintenance tools and equipment
• Self-starter who can work efficiently and independently without close supervision
• Strong organizational skills and ability to track daily work completed
• Physical ability to lift, push, or move items of approximately 50+ pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Friendly, professional attitude with great communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays if needed
