Hiring: Journeyman Carpenter for Residential Construction Company

MN Builders is hiring experienced Carpenters for high-end construction projects in the Tahoe/Truckee area.

We are an employee-owned (ESOP) General Contractor with over 40 years of trade excellence. We’re looking for skilled, self-motivated craftspeople who show up on time, take pride in their work, and put the team first.

What You’ll Do

Perform advanced rough and finish carpentry tasks (framing, trim, door/hardware hanging, cabinet installation).
Work on simple projects independently (e.g., deck construction, cabinetry installs, minor site tasks).
Assist Lead Carpenters and maintain safe, organized, and clean job sites.
Interpret architectural plans, structural drawings, and cabinet shop specs using Fieldwire

Minimum Requirements

Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the US
Experience: 3–8 years on active construction job sites
Vehicle & Tools: Reliable truck + complete personal hand/power toolkit
Skills: Strong working knowledge of job site safety (PPE, ladders, scaffolding) and skilled in framing/finish techniques
Physical Ability: Able to lift 50+ lbs, stand/kneel for long periods, and navigate uneven job site terrain.
Attitude: Punctual, polite, safety-conscious, and motivated to build to high standards.
