Hiring: Maintenance Tech for Apartment Complex

Property Management Company is hiring a full time Maintenance Technician at a 300 unit property in and east side suburb of Sacramento.

The Maintenance Technician will carrying out corrective, preventative, cosmetic, and emergency property maintenance. A qualified candidate will work with a team of technicians to assist in their daily responsibilities performing all necessary maintenance for the apartment community.

Essential Duties and Requirements:

Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical and pool maintenance.
Ensure all service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Perform work necessary to make vacant apartments ready for lease.
Ability to communicate and work well with residents, colleagues, administrative staff, and vendors.
Work a rotational on-call schedule.

Qualifications and Skills:

Must have 2-3 years experience as a Maintenance Tech in: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and pool maintenance.
Appliance repair experience preferred, but not necessary.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and engage in physical activities: walking, lifting, crouching, bending, reaching small spaces, standing for prolonged periods.
Ability to read and write in English and perform basic math.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License.

Compensation:

Pay rate: $25-28 per hour including commissions and is based upon qualifications and experience. Benefits: medical, dental, vision and life insurance, EAP Program, FSA Account, 401(k) and paid time off and paid holidays.
