Hiring Residential Construction Builder

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a hardworking, reliable, and physically fit construction builder in the residential remodel space to join our small, family business team. You will be responsible for actively leading and working ongoing jobs by reading plans/instructions, performing works yourself, communicating material needs, and ensuring yourself and up to three other workers are following all guidelines and performing in a workmanship manner. Ability to work as both 1099 employee and take on direct sub work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct communication with supervisor on project performance and requirements.
Performing physical labor for eight hours a day.
Operate and maintain machinery and hand tools safely.
Load and unload building materials.
Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to all safety regulations.
Assist with site cleanup and secure tools at the end of the day.

QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience in residential or commercial construction.
Must have basic power tools and be proficient in their use.
Physically capable of performing strenuous labor and standing for long periods.
Strong attention to safety protocols and site warning labels.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
Ability to work smart and follow directions quickly.
Able to work with, and direct, others.
Applicable experience with primary remodeling works: concrete, framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, siding, painting, flooring, tile
