# NOW HIRING: CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN / CARPENTER HELPER

We are a smaller, locally owned construction company with fewer than 50 employees, and we're growing! We're looking to add **two Construction Technicians** to our crew.

We specialize in the installation of **large rainwater collection and harvesting systems** for ranches, farms, businesses, and large residential properties throughout Central Texas.

These aren't small backyard rain barrels! We build and install large water collection tanks ranging from **250 gallons to 30,000 gallons**, along with the piping, filtration, and equipment needed to create a complete water harvesting system.

If you enjoy working outdoors, using tools, learning new skills, and seeing a project come together from start to finish, this could be a great opportunity!

### WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Building and installing large rainwater collection tanks on-site
• Installing PVC piping, conduit, and related components
• Assisting with electrical panels and equipment installations
• Helping install reverse osmosis and water purification systems
• Performing general construction, assembly, and installation work
• Working on ranches, farms, commercial properties, and residential construction sites
• Learning how to complete an entire water harvesting system from start to finish

Most projects take approximately **1–2 weeks to complete**, so you'll get to work on different properties and see the finished results of your work.

### WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We'd love to speak with candidates who have experience in any of the following:

• General construction or carpentry
• Landscaping or outdoor construction
• Concrete or foundation work
• Rock, masonry, or brickwork
• Wood framing or metal framing
• Metal fabrication or working with metal
• PVC piping or basic plumbing installations
• General construction labor and power tools

**You do NOT need previous experience installing rainwater harvesting systems. We will train you!**

Entry-level candidates are welcome, although **at least 6 months of hands-on construction experience is preferred.**

We are looking for dependable individuals who enjoy working outdoors, aren't afraid of physical work, and want to learn a specialized trade with long-term career potential.

### MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Current, valid driver's license
• Must meet company vehicle insurance requirements
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Reliable transportation to our Southwest Austin office
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Comfortable performing physical construction work outdoors
• Preferably live within approximately 20 minutes of our office near Oak Hill, Southwest Austin
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn

**All employees drive company vehicles for work, so a valid driver's license and insurability are required.**

### SCHEDULE, PAY & BENEFITS

**Starting Pay:** $20–$22/hour, depending on experience

**Schedule:** Four 10-hour days, generally Monday–Thursday

**FRIDAYS OFF!**

**Employment:** Full-time, permanent — NOT temporary or seasonal
