Hiring: Water Mitigation Technician – $ 20 to $25/hr

PuroClean of Laurel is looking for a reliable, hardworking Water Mitigation Technician to join our restoration team. If you are handy, enjoy problem-solving, and want to help people get their homes back to normal after a disaster, we want to talk to you.

We provide 24/7 emergency services for water, fire, and mold damage. This is a hands-on role where your work makes a direct impact on our community.

The Job

Respond to emergency water damage calls (leaks, floods, pipe bursts).

Extract standing water and set up professional drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers).

Perform controlled demolition (removing damaged drywall, flooring, or trim).

Monitor drying progress using moisture meters and thermal imaging.

Maintain a clean and organized work van and equipment.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Handy Skills: Experience with basic power tools and general maintenance/construction is highly preferred.

Restoration Experience: Prior experience in water mitigation or mold remediation is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight spaces (crawlspaces, attics) when necessary.

Availability: Must be willing to participate in a rotating "on-call" schedule for after-hours emergencies.

Pay & Benefits

Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour.
