Hiring Welder, entry level okay

Black Cloud Welding is hiring motivated and dependable welders, who take pride in their work, maintain a strong work ethic, and are motivated to grow within the company. We are a small welding company that focuses on structural and architectural steel for residential and small commercial properties. Our shop is located in Buda, TX, although most of our work is performed on site throughout the Austin area.

Responsibilities:

Prepare materials and components for welding

Operate and maintain welding machines and fabrication tools safely.
Grind and finish welded parts as required
Ability to lift 50+ lbs overhead, stand for long periods, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions (heat/cold).
Maintain quality standards and production efficiency
Perform visual inspection of welds and identify basic defects
Maintain clean and organized workstations
Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements
Working alongside other team members to work as a team to complete/execute each project in a productive manner
Support production schedules and team objectives
Other duties may be required

Qualifications:

Be able to take direction, both verbally and written.

Ability to work with others.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to read tape measures and perform accurate measurements
Good attendance and reliability
Strong work ethic and team mentality
Ability to work independently with moderate supervision
Time management
A strong sense of dedication to your work.
Must be able to lift, move, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (including overhead),
Ability to work in various environmental conditions (heat/cold).

Job Type: Full-time

Benefits: Paid time off

Shift: Mon-Fri 7am- 4:30pm

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour (depends on skill level)
