HIRING: WOOD MACHINE OPERATOR / MOULDER OPERATOR — $25/HOUR

Have experience operating woodworking or production machinery? We’re hiring a dependable Wood Machine Operator to process, shape, and prepare lumber and wood products for framing and custom orders.

PAY: $25.00 PER HOUR

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate woodworking equipment, including a Leadermac LMC-630 6-Spindle Moulder, planers, jointers, and saws.
Review work orders, specifications, and drawings.
Set up equipment, adjust machine settings, and perform test runs.
Measure and inspect materials before, during, and after processing.
Monitor production to meet quality standards and daily output goals.
Perform routine cleaning, inspections, and basic equipment maintenance.
Identify equipment problems or material defects and report issues requiring further assistance.
Maintain a safe, organized work area and coordinate with the production team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 3 years of experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing, lumberyard, or wood production environment.
Proven experience operating production machinery.
Experience with a Leadermac LMC-630 or similar four-side planer/moulder is preferred.
Knowledge of wood products and processing techniques.
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read measurements, work orders, and technical drawings accurately.
Basic computer skills for reporting or inventory tracking.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
High school diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
