Holiday Light Installers Wanted – $20–25/hr, PAID DAILY, Starting Now

Florida Painting Lady (floridapaintinglady.com) is hiring experienced holiday lighting installers for the 2026 season. We do high-end residential and estate work across South Florida: warm-white spiral-wrapped palm trunks, clean roofline runs, lit columns, entry gates, hedges and landscape-bed borders (see photos). Our clients expect precise, symmetrical, professional-grade installs — no sagging strands, no visible cords, no shortcuts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Install lights on rooflines, palms, columns, gates and landscaping using clips, wraps and proper fastening
Work from extension ladders and, on some jobs, lifts
Run and conceal extension cords, set timers, test every circuit before leaving
Return for takedowns in January (paid separately)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

1+ seasons of professional holiday lighting, low-voltage, landscape lighting or comparable exterior work (roofing, painting, gutters, tree/palm work also a plus)
Comfortable and safe working at height on ladders
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, your own basic hand tools
Detail-oriented, on time, clean and presentable — you'll be on client properties
Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in Florida heat
English or Spanish welcome; bilingual a plus
Lead-installer candidates: experience running a small crew and reading a lighting plan

DETAILS

Pay: $20–25/hour based on experience, PAID DAILY; lead installers at the top of the range or higher
Seasonal: installs run roughly mid-October through mid-December, takedowns in January
Hired as a 1099 contractor or W-2 seasonal employee — your choice, we'll discuss what works best for you
Full days available; weekend availability helpful
Materials, ladders and lights provided; we can also use your equipment if preferred
Strong installers are invited back every year, and there's painting work in the off-season for those who want it
