HVAC / Commercial Kitchen Repair Technician Position

About Us

We are a small company that has served the Las Vegas Area repairing restaurant equipment since 2003, and the Oklahoma City Area since 2020, currently pursuing a high growth concept.

Position Summary

This position starts as a field technician in the repair of Restaurant Equipment, to include walk-ins, fryers, ovens, microwaves, grills, steamers, ice machines . . . all restaurant equipment.
It takes about five years to complete our apprenticeship program. Once journeyman skills are proven, the candidate becomes qualified for a management position.
As a manager, ownership shares can be earned. We are looking for future partners, not just an employee.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair restaurant equipment.
Create estimates as requested.
Create and collect payment on invoices as needed.
At times, handyman tasks will be a part of the job.
Constant learning of the technical aspects of the trade, along with management skills.

Requirements

Must be a high school graduate or GED equivalent.
Must be able to be flexible in scheduling as needed.
(Our normal hours are M-F 8:00am to 4:30pm. Sometimes completing a job goes past 4:30, or we get an overtime call after 4:30 or on the weekend)
Must be willing to take turns being on call for weekends and after hours.
Must be willing to complete studies on your own time. (This position starts as an apprenticeship)
Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
Must have excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
Must be drug free. (We do complete drug tests)
Must have a clean criminal background. (We complete jobs in secured areas that require it)
Must have a clean driving record. (We need to insure those driving company vehicles)
Common sense and a good work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a Commercial Kitchen Repair Technician will be given preference.
Certified graduation from an HVAC/Refrigeration program will be given preference.
EPA Universal Certified will be given preference (This is required within 90 days of employment) We will help a qualified candidate obtain this as part of their apprenticeship.
Bilingual is not required but is a plus

Additional Details on Compensation

This position starts at a minimum of $800/week + ticket time bonuses based on skill of technician.
This is a full time/year round position, with no seasonal layoffs or being sent home early without pay.
Once the management level is reached, a compensation over $200k+/year can be built by a manager using our generous profit sharing and ownership share system.
