About Us
Lara Air Conditioning is a Commercial/Residential HVAC service and repair company. We work on everything from rooftop units and boilers to building controls, EMS/BMS systems, drives, pumps, and water heaters. We're looking for a reliable, hardworking part-time helper who wants to learn the trade and grow with us.
What You'll Do
- Assist technicians with service calls, repairs, and maintenance on Commercial/Residential HVAC equipment
- Carry, load, and organize tools, parts, and equipment on trucks and at job sites
- Help with filter changes, coil cleaning, belt replacements, and routine preventive maintenance
- Keep work areas clean and safe, including rooftops and mechanical rooms
- Learn to read wiring diagrams, use meters and gauges, and troubleshoot under a tech's guidance
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- 2-5 years’ experience required
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
- Able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, work on rooftops, and work in hot or tight spaces
- Reliable transportation to the shop/field and on time every day
- Trade required hand tools
- EPA 608 certification preferred but not required
- Hourly pay: $20 per hour, depending on experience.
- Part-time schedule according to customer demand
- On-the-job training and a path to HVAC technician
Part-time, Monday–Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm; hours may vary based on client demand
