HVAC Installer / Installer Apprentice – Full-Time

AB Heating & Cooling is a growing residential HVAC company looking to add a motivated HVAC Installer or Installer Apprentice to our team. We specialize in high-quality furnace, air conditioner, heat pump, mini split, and rooftop installations throughout the Chicago area.

Whether you’re an experienced installer or someone looking to grow in the trade, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up on time, and is willing to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Install residential heating and cooling systems.
• Assist with furnace, A/C, heat pump, and mini split installations.
• Remove and dispose of existing equipment.
• Fabricate and install sheet metal transitions as needed.
• Run refrigerant lines, pressure test, evacuate, and assist with system startup.
• Maintain a clean and professional job site.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners.
• Follow company installation standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• HVAC experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right apprentice.
• EPA Certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoor conditions.
• Positive attitude, reliable, and willing to learn.
• Must be dependable and take pride in quality workmanship.
