HVAC SUBCONTRACTORS WANTED – STEADY WORK AVAILABLE

Florida Heating & Air, Inc. is seeking experienced HVAC subcontractors for ongoing residential and light-commercial work throughout Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, Fleming Island, Orange Park, and surrounding North Florida areas.

SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY: If you are an experienced HVAC professional working outside the Jacksonville area, we may have a special opportunity available in your local service area. Please include the cities and counties you currently cover when responding.

DEPENDABILITY AND RELIABILITY ARE ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENTS.

Subcontractors must be able to troubleshoot HVAC systems properly and independently. Applicants performing system replacements must also be capable of completing change-outs, starting systems, identifying and correcting installation or operational problems, and bringing newly installed systems fully online.

Available work includes:

• HVAC service calls, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
• Complete system change-outs and installations
• System startups, commissioning, and operational verification
• Air-handler, condenser, evaporator-coil, and compressor replacements
• Line-set installation and repairs
• Refrigerant piping, brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, and charging
• Ductwork installation, replacement, modification, and repairs
• Plenums, transitions, insulated return stands, and ventilation work
• Warranty-related HVAC service and installations

Applicants must:

• Be dependable, reliable, and responsive
• Have proven HVAC service and installation experience
• Be capable of troubleshooting systems independently
• Be able to complete change-outs and bring new systems fully online
• Hold EPA Section 608 certification
• Carry a minimum of $500,000 in liability insurance
• Carry workers’ compensation insurance or a valid exemption
• Have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Provide their own professional tools and basic supplies
• Operate through a legally registered business
• Use employees or helpers who are legally authorized to work in the United States
• Perform clean, professional work and communicate consistently
• Respond promptly to installation callbacks for 90 days following completion

Required documents include proof of liability insurance, business registration or license, workers’ compensation certificate or exemption, EPA certification, driver’s license, and completed subcontractor agreement.

Compensation is based on the type of work, experience, qualifications, and ability to complete assignments independently. We are looking for professionals interested in building a dependable, long-term working relationship—not individuals seeking occasional day labor.
