HVAC - Service Technician

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an HVAC Service Technician for a long-term (temp-to-perm) opportunity in the Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas County areas.

PAY: $30–$37/hour (based on experience)

LOCATION: Tampa, FL
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
DURATION: Temp-to-Perm

We are looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician with 7+ years of experience in service and refrigeration. Chiller experience, retrofit work, and installation experience are strong pluses. This role offers long-term stability, growth potential, and a company-provided service vehicle.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
Work on chillers (preferred) and perform retrofit/install tasks as needed
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and control diagrams
Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues and solutions
Maintain a professional, customer-friendly attitude
Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of commercial HVAC service experience

Experience with commercial HVAC service and refrigeration
Chiller, retrofit, and install experience (preferred)
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
EPA Universal Certification
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a drug test and background check
Must be customer-friendly and professional
Additional Requirements:

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Must have own hand tools and gauges
Must have reliable transportation (for initial onboarding if needed)
