Stellar Solutions LLC Heating & Cooling is accepting applications from experienced, customer-focused Residential HVAC Service Technicians to serve customers throughout Elbert, Douglas, El Paso, Arapahoe, and surrounding Colorado counties.

We are currently seeking a flexible, part-time/as-needed technician to help with overflow service calls. We are also accepting applications for an anticipated full-time position as our advertising campaign generates additional customer demand.

Applicants should understand that service-call volume and weekly hours may initially be limited or variable. A consistent full-time schedule is not guaranteed immediately.

Available Positions
Part-Time/As-Needed Service Technician
Scheduled according to service-call volume and customer demand
Flexible, variable weekly schedule
Some weeks may have multiple calls, while others may have limited work
Ideal for an experienced technician looking to supplement an existing schedule
Opportunity for additional hours as the company grows

Anticipated Full-Time Service Technician
Intended to become a consistent position as customer demand increases
Target schedule of approximately 30–40 hours during sufficiently busy weeks
Initial hours may be limited or variable
Start date and regular schedule will depend on workload and company growth
Opportunity to help build and grow a local HVAC service company

Compensation and Benefits
$32–$40 per hour, depending on experience
Performance bonuses may be available
Daily fuel allowance
Additional fuel compensation for approved calls outside the primary service area
Colorado paid sick leave provided as required by law

Vehicle and Tool Requirements
Stellar Solutions LLC Heating & Cooling does NOT currently provide a company vehicle or HVAC tools.

Applicants must have:

  • A reliable personal service vehicle suitable for carrying HVAC tools and equipment
  • Their own hand tools, meters, gauges, testers, and diagnostic instruments
  • A reliable cell phone
  • A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • The ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned service territory
Fuel allowances are provided for approved service calls. Additional travel compensation may be considered for calls outside the primary service area.

Responsibilities
Diagnose, service, and repair residential heating and air-conditioning systems
Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections
Troubleshoot furnaces, central air conditioners, heat pumps, thermostats, and related components
Identify system problems and recommend appropriate repair or replacement options
Clearly explain findings, recommendations, and pricing to customers
Prepare accurate estimates when needed
Help customers make informed decisions without using high-pressure sales tactics
Complete service documentation accurately and promptly
Maintain a clean and professional appearance
Deliver excellent customer service
Work independently while representing Stellar Solutions LLC Heating & Cooling professionally
Follow company procedures and applicable safety requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of residential HVAC service experience
  • EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Working knowledge of residential HVAC repair pricing and estimating
  • Ability to explain repair and replacement options professionally
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Reliable personal service vehicle
  • Own HVAC tools, meters, gauges, testers, and diagnostic equipment
  • Professional appearance and dependable work habits
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
NATE certification or currently working toward certification
Experience servicing furnaces, central air conditioners, and heat pumps
Experience preparing estimates and discussing repair and replacement options
