HVAC Subcontractor Rough-In Installer

Work is focused on new, residential construction across the Hampton Roads area.

Need a copy of your business license, completed W9, and Certificate of Liability Insurance Coverage to include: Commercial General Liability, Automobile Liability, and Workers' Compensation.

Main Duties:

Perform HVAC rough in, install new duct work up to code and according to the plans. Should be able to hook up a unit, run refrigeration line, condensation lines, thermostat wire etc.

Job Duties:

• Install boots, connect duct lines, and hang distribution boxes as the plans/blueprints indicate
• Distribution boxes should be properly insulated before installing
• Strap up ductwork according to code
• Properly run thermostat wire and refrigeration line
• Should be able to hook up a unit

Expectations:

• Installs must be up to code
• Installs must be able to pass a Duct Blast Test (duct connections should be tight and properly installed)
• Able to produce a shortage list / list of needed materials
• Able to work without explicit instructions
• Able to understand and utilize plans
• Installs should be time efficient and have good turnaround time
• Should have your own tools
