Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician and become a vital part of ensuring comfort, safety, and efficiency in commercial and residential environments. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of HVAC systems, including refrigeration, mechanical systems, electrical components, and building automation systems. Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Utilize hand tools and welding equipment for equipment repair and system installation projects.
Interpret schematics and HVAC design plans to accurately execute system setups or modifications.
Maintain building automation systems (BAS) for efficient climate control and energy management.
Ensure compliance with EPA regulations related to refrigerants and environmental safety standards.
Perform routine HVAC system maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
Diagnose issues with plumbing, electrical systems, or mechanical components using specialized tools.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during field service visits.
Experience

Proven construction experience with HVAC system installation and mechanical systems repair.
Service technician experience working on HVAC/R equipment in commercial or industrial settings.
Strong knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, refrigeration cycles, and building automation systems.
Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, welding, plumbing, and appliance repair.
Mechanical knowledge related to boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and property maintenance tasks.
Familiarity with electrical systems including wiring diagrams and the use of testing tools like ohmmeters.
Ability to operate hand tools efficiently and safely in various field service environments.
Criminal Background will undergo a review process.
Valid driver’s license and driving record will undergo a review process.
Certifications such as EPA certification for refrigerants are required; additional certifications in HVAC/R or boiler operation are a plus.
