HVAC Install Lead/Technician

We’re looking for clean-cut, professional HVAC Install Leads who take pride in their work, communicate exceptionally well with homeowners, and want to build a career installing premium HVAC systems in some of Southern California’s finest homes.

Candidates must be willing to adhere to our professional grooming and appearance standards. A neat, clean, and professional appearance is required for this role. No facial/neck tattoos.

Position Responsibilities

Lead complete residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
Install premium HVAC systems in luxury homes and light commercial properties.
Install furnaces, condensers, evaporator coils, air handlers, heat pumps, package units, ductless mini-splits, zoning systems, and complete duct systems.
Lead and mentor installation helpers and junior installers.
Ensure every installation meets manufacturer specifications, California building codes, and company quality standards.
Read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and installation specifications.
Plan installation layouts and coordinate materials before each project.
Perform system commissioning, startup, testing, airflow balancing, refrigerant charging, and final quality inspections.
Verify proper electrical connections, drain systems, refrigerant piping, airflow, and equipment performance.
Keep every job site clean, organized, and respectful of customers’ homes.
Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, project managers, and office staff.
Complete installation reports and required documentation accurately.
Maintain company vehicle, inventory, and tools.
Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety standards.
Qualifications

2–5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience required
Previous experience as an HVAC Install Lead or Crew Lead preferred
Expert knowledge of residential HVAC installation practices
Experience installing split systems, furnaces, condensers, heat pumps, package units, air handlers, mini-splits, zoning systems, and ductwork
Strong sheet metal fabrication and duct modification skills
Experience brazing copper refrigerant lines and pressure testing systems
Ability to commission, start up, and verify complete HVAC systems
Ability to read blueprints and installation drawings
Strong understanding of California mechanical and building codes
Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities
Outstanding communication and customer service skills
Professional, clean-cut appearance
Valid California Driver License with a clean driving record
Ability to safely lift equipment and work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and confined spaces
Detail-oriented with pride in producing exceptional workmanship
