HVAC Technician - Weekend/Side Work - $60/hr + Travel

We are looking for a reliable, experienced HVAC technician to handle maintenance, installs, and diagnostics for a portfolio of rental properties. This is perfect for a professional looking to pick up extra hours on weekends or evenings.

Pay: $60/hour (Flat rate).

Travel: Travel time between properties is paid - we assume that East Bay is 'home base'.

Scope: A mix of routine maintenance, complex diagnostics, and full system installations across multiple residential units.

Expenses: All job-related materials (filters, refrigerant, parts) will be fully reimbursed with receipts.

Requirements

To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:

Current Employment: You must currently work for an established HVAC company. Proof of professional employment/experience is required.

Skill Set: Must be highly proficient in both new installations and advanced troubleshooting/diagnostics.

Tools: You must own and bring your own professional gear, including:

Manifold Gauges

Vacuum Pump

Nitrogen Tank/Regulator

Soldering/Brazing Torch & Materials

Reliability: Must be responsive and able to work independently.
