HVAC TECHNICIAN/INSTALLER

Mechanical Company in business for over 20 years is looking to hire HVAC Techs and Installers. We are a complete HVAC shop that does installs, service and in house fabrication. Our office is in LIC and we work in the 5 boroughs and Long Island. This is a great opportunity to continue learning and show your technical skills and value to a company that has consistent work.

Piping Installers:

Ability to work well with others

Experience with Daiken, Mitsubishi, Lg, Fujitsu Mini Splits
Ability to braze, solder, nitrogen test and follow piping diagrams
Ability to Vacuum and charge systems
Ability to mount air handlers, make flares and unit connections

Technicians:

Ability to change filters belts

Knows how to wire and troubleshoot thermostat wiring
Knows how to read temp and pressure with gauge
Knows how to charge a system with and without a scale
Ability to change motors and compressors
Knowledge troubleshooting of Daikin, Lg, Mitsubishi error codes (we are also able to assist by phone for more advanced troubleshooting)

Requirements:

OSHA SST

Drivers License proffered
On time and punctual
Can communicate well with clients and company management
Have own hand tools, meter and gauges
Torch and Fire guard (G60, F60) preferred
At least 3-5 years experience installing or doing service
