HVAC/Ductwork Professional Needed – Somerville

Looking for an experienced HVAC professional to inspect a ductwork problem in one bedroom of a home in Somerville (02144).

The supply duct appears to be disconnected inside the wall, with approximately a 6–7 inch gap between two sections. The branch also has no balancing damper, unlike the other branches in the system. The room receives little or no heat, and the open duct may be pulling unconditioned air into the system.

I need someone who can:

• Inspect the concealed duct using a borescope/inspection camera
• Confirm the location and extent of the disconnection
• Evaluate airflow and possible negative-pressure issues
• Explain what repairs are needed
• Provide photographs and a written estimate
